D PRA Canada has over twenty-five years experience with both social impact assessment (SIA) and Socio-Economic Impact Assessment (SEIA). The firm has designed, implemented, and documented studies to assess the socio-economic impacts of a wide range of projects and programs. We have also conducted 'peer reviews' of work done by others. Clients include the private sector, all levels of government, and First Nations.

Consultation with affected parties is an integral aspect of most of DPRA Canada's SEIA studies. Our staff often work closely with many interests, including residents and ratepayers, environmental groups, government agencies, and representatives of community services, industry, and business concerns. Many of our SEIA projects involve working in a multi-disciplinary team setting. DPRA Canada staff have provided expert evidence on social impact assessment before tribunals such as the Environmental Assessment Board and the Ontario Municipal Board.
